John Serafin has two photos HERE taken with his Canon S110 Digital Camera. The second one of Hincapie and Johnson is awesome ... even showing their pedals in phase with perfect clarity!! It's almost like they are doing a track stand on Fillmore. The apparent grade is reduced by camera tilt.

175,000 watch along streets of San Francisco" HERE along with 5 photos.
Mike Maloney from the San Francisco Chronicle has "Photos from Fillmore Street, with an average grade of 10%, topping off at 18%" HERE Mike notes that riders climbed over 7,000 feet! I could really relate to: "On lap 10, the back of the pack were as criss-crossed as the overhead wires".
